The 228 is the smaller of Aquapac's 2 budget radio cases the 229 is a Pro version while the 248 is a larger version that fits larger handsets or radiossatphones with extralong antenna. The 228 size fits most handheld radios whether with left or righthand antenna. It comes supplied with an adjustable lanyard to hang it round your neck. You can use your radio normally through the case it doesn't interfere with sound or radio signals. It will also protect your handset from dust dirt and sand. And like most Aquapac cases it'll float if you drop it in the drink making it a prudent investment to protect even handsets that are already waterproof. The AQUAcLIP a patented ultrasecure rustproof plastic seal opens and closes with a simple twist of two levers and everything stays in one piece even when the clip is open. The case is made of a thin but remarkably tough PVcfree material called TPU and is very light 1.8 ounces 51 grams including the lanyard. The seams are highfrequency welded to form a superstrong bond.
